CLIENT: INTERNATIONAL FUNDRAISING CONGRESS & RESOURCE ALLIANCE
PROJECT: VISUAL IDENTITY & SPATIAL DESIGN
PERIOD: 7 YEARS OF PARTNERING TOGETHER
Transforming the NH Hotel Leeuwenhorst for IFC to put their purpose into practise
Spatial design of multiple areas of the Hotel to create the right atmosphere to catalyse the purpose and essence of IFC.
Originally we designed a Lemonade Stand.
The Following year we transformed multiple rather stale hotel areas
Into an iconic spatial areas creating the bedding for the participants to flourish in each individual purpose.
Transforming the Hotel in to an Iconic visual depiction of the ETOS of IFC
Taking in account the restrictions a hotel has of that size.
Making them unique, inspiring, creative in the Hotel space.
A set up which transformed and was customized per year as per wished by the client over the years. A completely sustainable unique design
We now have developed a strong visual rendering of the Amnesty International Logo. Their original where 8 and have been put into multiple sorts of functionality over the years.
Preparation and prefabrication
NATURE FIRST MATERIALS
We make use of materials which have previously had a different purpose or life.
All of the used elements in the spatial design have been build custom for IFC.
Other materials and set up
Material 1 : Wood
Wood in multiple forms. We used more then 200 Pallets, all sourced from used Pallets centers specifically modified for the IFC congress. Some wood sourced from reliable eco friendly lumber mills.
Material 2 : Plastic
Plastic sourced from wasted plastic bottles, sheets and all other sources transformed into a new material stream through a crafty Upcycling Formula.
Action in our Studio
Building on site
At NH Hotel Leeuwenhorst we have to primarily be very careful with the original Hotel decorum, being very careful in not damaging the space.
DID YOU KNOW
Each year our build has expanded further into the Hotel.
Every year we have developed the range of Upcycled materials used incrementally.
Our team has been devoted to IFC for the last 7 years now. We have developed close and trusting relationships with the IFC team. Our team comes together, works together, keeping our sama sama flow organic and wholesome.
Individually uniquely skilled, collectively working together for the bigger goal.
This is what Amnesty's action coordinator Maarten has to say about us:
“Our relationship with Creative Composers has expanded steadily over the years, from purely operational to all-in-one creative partner.
We come to them with abstract ideas and together we develop them into tangible public campaigns.
They can build anything, and also delve into the deeper meaning of a story.
During the big events, they are our rock, because we have a clear mutual understanding.”
Thank you, Maarten, we couldn't have put it better.
