IFC/Resource Alliance ambition is to bring together a global community of fundraisers, campaigners, and activists and connect them with innovative thinking, best practices and collaborative networks to support them in their mission.
Our mission is to transform NH Hotel Leeuwenhorst for IFC to put their purpose into practice.
CREATION
Spatial design of multiple areas of the Hotel to create the right atmosphere to catalyse the essence of IFC and make it tangible. Ultimately creating the right bedding for the IFC participants to flourish in each individual purpose they represent or are searching for.

THE CHALLENGE
Conferences can be dull colored and corporate. IFC wanted something else, this gave us the challenge to transform the Hotel in to an iconic visual depiction of the etos of IFC.
Every year we try to make the space as unique, inspiring and creative as possible. Taking into account the restrictions a hotel has of that size.
A set up which is transformed and customized every year by us and the wishes of the client, to keep the design contemporary and relatable every year. This creates a completely sustainable unique design.

NATURE FIRST MATERIALS
We make use of materials which have previously had a different purpose of life.
All of the used elements in the spatial design have been build custom for IFC.

CORE MATERIALS
Material 1 : Wood
Wood in multiple forms. We used more than 100 Pallets, all collected from used Pallets centers specifically modified for the IFC congress. Some wood is sourced from reliable eco friendly lumber mills.
Material 2 : Plastic
The plastic that we use is sourced from plastic bottles, caps and other plastic waste. The plastic is transformed into a new material stream through a crafty Upcycling Formula.

In the hotel we have to be very careful in not damaging the space or objects.
