ASSIGNMENT
Creating & Concepting a sustainable tradefair stand for Google and its European Google Earth Tour of international summits, tradefairs & congresses. Which translated for us into the following: Creating, concepting a beautiful, natural, sustainable modular tradefair stand for Google.
CREATION
We created a modular upcycled eco friendly tradefair stand. A unique custom build setup. Materials uniquely crafted out of waste streams.
Modular in the sense that the areas varied between 30m2 and 200m2, where each size meant a different set up.
Beautiful & Natural in a way that we incorporated natural earthy tones with splashes of color in the materials, warm lighting and a large collection of plants.
Sustainable to us means upcycling waste streams as the source of the materials for the entire build & set up, in all its variations. Partnering with The Upcycle for their unique techniques and products.

A tradefair stand, adaptable to multiple demands

Large grand congress centres as the decorums in which we build.
Making them unique, inspiring, creative and eco friendly.

NATURE FIRST MATERIALS
We make use of materials which have previously had a different purpose or life.
We upcycle sourcing and creating materials which we then use in our builds.

CORE MATERIALS
Material 1 : Wood
Wood in multiple forms. We used more than 50 Pallets, all sourced from used Pallet centers specifically modified for the Google stand. All the wood used has had a previous purpose.
Material 2 : Plastic
The plastic that we use is sourced from plastic bottles, caps and other plastic waste transformed into a new material stream through a crafty Upcycling Formula. A mix of craftmanship, technique, development and partners.
